Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the quilt shop, PSQ announces Mission...Seams Impossible 2! This time it’s better than ever with more time and less stress—we promise!

 

Beginning in January 2010 we invited you to join us in our search to find the next Top Quilter through our contest, “Mission: Seams Impossible 2.”  Beginning in January and running every other month until July, participants will be presented with a themed challenge to create a small quilt project which she (or he...we’re equal opportunity at PSQ!) must interpret through fabric.  Various techniques can be used to bring life to the theme with extra points given for creativity and use of a variety of techniques.  Guest judges will be brought in each month to select the winner and visitors to PSQ can vote for Viewer’s Choice.  Guest judges will not necessarily be quilters so don’t worry if your points aren’t perfect...creativity and dedication is KEY!  Prizes will be awarded for each challenge and you DO NOT have to participate in all three challenges to be eligible to win. 

 

All levels of quilters are welcome as we will judge on a variety of areas such as interpretation of theme and creativity and not just on piecing and quilting skills.  Everyone and anyone could win!

 

So, here’s the breakdown—three challenges over six months with lots of prizes, lots of fun and less stress.  You can participate in all of the challenges or just pick and choose.  Everyone who participates in any or all challenges will have their pieces on display at the Batavia Quilt Show in July and will have the opportunity to win a Viewer’s Choice Award.
